Keith Wicks

Internationally renowned artist and a Sonoma Treasure Artist, Keith Wicks is recognized for his ability to capture the intensity and romanticism of light and color on canvas. Wicks spent nearly a decade as a professor at the Academy of Art University teaching art in the classroom as well as trips abroad. 

In 2002, he founded Sonoma Plein Air, a nonprofit organization that raises funds to preserve art education in Sonoma public schools and art organizations. In the years to follow, he founded two more plein air shows to benefit Telluride Colorado and his home town of Bakersfield California.
